Emphasizing lifelong learning as a key ingredient to wellness is especially important for older adults, and nonprofit organizations can play a vital role by providing access to STEAM resources.

Smiling elderly woman with white hair, glasses, and gold earrings.
Inspired by those that bring playfulness in our lives...

Memory Care Activities: Engaging Seniors in Playful Learning

Clydene was a key inspiration behind STEAMwSeniors, a program that promotes intergenerational activities for families. She was a loving and adventurous wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, colleague, and friend to many. Full of laughter and wit, she embraced life, adventure, travel, and family, always eager to help those in need. Her passion for senior wellness was evident in her support for memory care programs. Sadly, she passed away due to complications with Alzheimer's.

Our Memory Care Mission

Our Approach to Working with Memory Care-Loved Ones

Our Approach to Working with Memory Care-Loved Ones

We aim to bring laughter, fun, engagement, and smiles to those in memory care situations through intergenerational activities and memory care programs that promote senior wellness.

Our Approach to Working with Memory Care-Loved Ones

In meeting this mission of joy, we believe in creating memory care programs that keep patients active and laughing through movement. A key driver in this approach is the work of Dutch therapist JOËL KRUISSELBRINK, who focuses on intergenerational activities that encourage both young and old to get moving again in a playful way, supporting overall senior wellness.
