At SWS (STEAMwSeniors Inc.), we understand the diverse needs and resources of our clients. Our goal is to provide high-quality services that are accessible to everyone, from startups to established nonprofits and private organizations.

• Mission: Our goal is to assist retirement communities with hands-on STEAM-based Life Enrichment curriculum and programs (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math).
• Vision: STEAM is a conduit for life-long learning, improved health and wellness, and an opportunity to enhance intergenerational connections.
• Sustainability: We want to help you build sustainable solutions. As a result, our model does not support SWS facilitating your programs on a long-term basis. Rather, we want to give you the tools to run your programs yourself.
• Financial Accessibility: We strive to make our services accessible to all, irrespective of financial limitations, by offering various avenues to offset costs.

Service Offerings:

Initial Outreach (No Fee)

• Schedule a meeting to discuss your organization's needs.
• Demo hands-on STEAM workshop for residents (location-dependent).
• Overview of free resources for your programs that we offer. We continue to build and add to this.
• Brief training in education methods.
• Subscription to our SWS Newsletter for updates and helpful ideas.

Retainer Services (Fee-based)

• Tailored ongoing support based on your organization's needs.
• Weekly or as-needed training and brainstorming sessions.

Program Development (Fee-based)

• Customized program development to meet your goals.
• Development of tailored STEAM programs, content, and curriculum.

Mutual Partnership (No fee)

• Collaboration where your organization supports STEAMwSeniors, and we support you.
• Building programs together - in-house and intergenerational - with a secondary goal of outreach. 
• Where applicable, a willingness to share your organization's STEAM content, curriculum, and programs with STEAMwSeniors for broader community dissemination.
• We believe in building strong relationships with our partners. This may look a little different from one organization to the next. 

Fee Structure

• Initial Outreach: No fee
• Retainer Services: Monthly retainer fee ranging from $150 to $600, depending on the level of support required.
• Program Development: Flat fee for special projects ranging from $200 to $1,500, adjusted to accommodate nonprofit budgets.
• Mutual Partnership: Joint program development. Collaborative grants. 
• Travel Allowance: For travel over 50 miles from Hesston, KS, an additional $0.30 per mile is charged. For distances over 200 miles, $0.75 per mile applies. Extended engagements may incur a flat travel day rate of $100, with separate arrangements for air travel.

Our Commitment: Adhering to IRS guidelines for 501(c)(3) organizations, our fees are set to cover the cost of services provided, without generating undue profit. Every dollar charged is reinvested into our mission.
