At STEAMwSeniors Inc., we provide guidance and support to help organizations bring meaningful STEAM programs into their senior services and communities. We understand that every organization is different. Our approach is flexible, practical, and designed to meet you where you are.

We focus on helping you build sustainable, in-house programming by providing the tools, ideas, and guidance needed for your team to lead confidently.

How We Work

Our services are designed to be flexible and accessible, depending on your organization’s needs and goals.

Initial Outreach (No Fee)

- Introductory meeting to discuss your organization’s needs  

- Optional demo STEAM workshop for residents (location-dependent)  

- Overview of available STEAM resources  

- Introductory training in STEAM-based engagement methods

Retainer Support (Fee-Based)

- Ongoing, tailored support based on your needs  

- Regular or as-needed training and brainstorming sessions  

- Continued guidance as your program develops

Program Development (Fee-Based)

- Customized STEAM program design aligned with your goals  

- Development of activities, content, and structured programming  

- Support in building sustainable, in-house programming

Collaborative Partnerships (No Fee)

We also work with select partners in a collaborative model.  

- Co-develop programs and initiatives  

- Explore intergenerational and outreach opportunities  

- Collaborate on shared ideas and potential grant opportunities  

When appropriate, partners may choose to share program ideas to support broader community impact.

We value strong, flexible partnerships and tailor these collaborations to each organization.

Fee Structure

- Initial Outreach: No fee  

- Retainer Support: $100–$500/month depending on level of support  

- Program Development: $200–$1,500 per project (adjusted for nonprofit budgets)  

- Collaborative Partnerships: No fee (shared development model)

Travel

- No travel fee for locations within 50 miles of Hesston, KS  

- 50–200 miles: $0.30 per mile  

- Over 200 miles: $0.75 per mile  

- Extended travel: $100 per day (air travel arranged separately)

Our Commitment

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our fees are designed to cover the cost of services while supporting our mission. All revenue is reinvested into expanding STEAM opportunities for senior services and communities.
